I have always felt an attraction and an interest for art…
A a certain point however, I dared to enjoy it from a contemplative standpoint but also with the desire to express my thoughts and feelings.
Two years ago, I discovered my passion for ceramics. It is a creative and meditative process where the clay goes through different phases and, in which the result can always be unexpected thanks to its firing and the mixture of glazes.
The faster, more ephemeral and immediate things seem to happen nowadays; I get reminded by ceramics, through a strange connection with what is natural and primitive of the importance and, necessity of respecting certain times and certain rhythms.
Maybe it is precisely this that has led me today to explore with my pieces concepts like nature, existence, origins, roots or my family…
